Monkey Business

November 3, 2007 -- Kuhn & Wittenborn produced a spot for the Kansas City Aviation Department with a two-year-old chimp as the star of the show. Under the concept of "It's so easy, even a monkey could do it," the spot follows the chimp as he logs onto the flykci.com Web site from home, packs his bags, parks in the economy lot at the airport and boards the plane. The spot is scheduled to run on a closed-circuit CNN broadcast within the airport.

DRACULA BOOTACULAR

October 31, 2007 -- A long-standing tradition at Kuhn & Wittenborn, the annual Halloween party was a huge hit. Guests this year included a witch, a spider, a pirate, Paris Hilton, a team of doctors, the Statue of Liberty, our own Alan Doan as a biker, and many more!

The day began with trick-or-treating around the office, and continued with scary food, costume, and pumpkin carving contests at our noontime party. Although we had several great entries, David - or Mr. Halloween - took home the grand prize in all areas with his homemade spider costume, squirrel nibbled lady fingers and amazingly carved pumpkin(s). See the photos.

2nd Annual Kuhn & Wittenborn Chili Contest

September 10, 2007 -- Kuhn & Wittenborn held its second annual chili contest to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night event.

This year, the contest had a special twist as clients were invited to eat, drink and judge our chilis! Out of nine entries, it was a hard choice. But, it came down to two finalists and a grand prize winner. Congrats to Robert for his amazing "Hobart's Chili." The contest combined with a jeans week around the office ended up raising over $500.

August 30, 2007 -- Kuhn & Wittenborn created an unconventional campaign for Liberty Hospital drawing parallels between Liberty Hospital doctors and staff to super heroes. This summer, the campaign won first place with perfect scores from the Missouri Hospital Association's "Show Me Excellence" awards for its print ads, and second place for the outdoor board. The campaign was also recently covered in several publications, including the Kansas City Business Journal and Health Care Advertising Review.
