Do you have a hobby? I make and sell my own jewelry. I also love to travel.
Tell us about your most obscure job. I was a locker room attendant at Meadow Brook Country Club.
What did you want to be as a kid?
A movie star.
Favorite drink: Diet Coke Zero and vodka...but not together.
What got you into this business? Tracy Barrett, a second-grade classmate. Her father worked at an agency and let her be in a commercial. I thought that was very cool.
Who is the biggest influence in your career? Jean McHenry. Talk about learning from the best!
What was your finest moment professionally? Negotiating rates for IBM - better than their national agency of record. That was very satisfying.
Do you have a method for coming up with ideas for clients? I like to brainstorm with at least one other person. It helps having a sounding board and someone who will give some method to some of my madness...or talk me down from some crazy ideas.
What do you think makes a great brand? Having products that people want to buy - not just because of the product, but also because of the brand.
What's the most memorable vacation you've taken? I once flew to London on the Concorde and came back on the Queen Elizabeth 2.
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what would you miss the most?
My cell phone.
Is there any food that helps you think more creatively? Chocolate.
What is your most embarrassing moment? There is no way I'm listing that here.
What's your favorite sports team? The Kansas City Chiefs.
What was college like for you? It was great. The classes were pretty easy and I had a lot fun - lots of partying.

What would you do if you won a $1 million? I'd invest it. Travel. And donate it to cancer research.
