Do you have a funny college story? “I lived in a co-ed dorm my freshman year. I distinctly remember everyone on my floor gathering in the TV lounge for the world premier of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video…and being just a little bit scared.”

Favorite meal: “Sushi.”

Hobbies: “Going to my kids’ games, traveling, movies.”

Favorite movie: “Anything with Julie Andrews – she’s transcendent. My daughters love her as much as I did, in the old films like Sound of Music and Mary Poppins, to her more current work in Princess Diaries.

Tell us about your most obscure job? “Right after college, I was a marketing intern for the Kansas City Comets, an indoor soccer team. As part of our sponsorship packages, I was responsible for setting up birthday parties in the suites, walking cakes for miles up to the suites…”

What did you want to be as a kid? “A rock star.”

Song you’re embarrassed to say you know all the words to: “Billy Don’t Be A Hero.”

If you could take over any celebrity’s life, who would it be? “Norah Jones.”

What’s your biggest achievement? “Raising two fantastic daughters.”

Favorite drink: “Ketel One with blue cheese-stuffed olives.”

Who was your favorite Sesame Street character? “Oscar the Grouch.”

If you could have a shopping spree, where would you go? “Target or Neiman Marcus.”

What got you into advertising in the first place? “I was always into being an excellent communicator and the art of expression. Advertising just seemed to be a way to take that personal view of communication and make it my profession.”

Who was a big influence in your career? “My Dad, who taught me that whatever I chose, I needed to commit myself to it and realize it’s not about the end goal – it’s about the work itself. ‘Just do the work.’”

What was your finest professional moment? “Working for a Y&R agency in New York, my client at AT&T Universal Card went on maternity leave and asked me to move to Jacksonville, Florida to work in her place until she returned. I became my agency’s client – a blast!”

What attracted you to Kuhn & Wittenborn? “The culture here is unlike most every other place I’ve worked. Ultimately, it’s a supportive, inclusive and motivating environment.”

What makes a great brand? “The ability to elicit an emotional response or memory.”

What driving career goals do you still have? “To have fun doing the work.”

What talent do you wish you had? “I wish I had better quantitative skills.”

If you were stranded on a desert island, what would miss? “DVR’d television.”

Is there any food that helps you think more creatively? “Honey Nut Cheerios.”

What frustrates you the most? “The endless struggle for a clutter-free home.”

What do you do for a good time when you’re not working? “I like to hang out with my husband and kids, go to movies, TNCT (Thursday Night Couch Therapy) with my girlfriends, shop online.”

What was college like for you? “Best time of my life! Newfound independence, Jayhawk spirit, and I met my husband.”

What are your favorite Internet sites? “Dailycandy.com, msnbc.com, realsimple.com and eonline.com.”

What’s your claim to fame? “I once sang Pat Benatar’s ‘Hit Me with Your Best Shot’ at a high school graduation party.”

Who makes you laugh the hardest? “Jon Stewart.”

What would you do if you won $1 million in the lottery? “I’d update my house, take the family to Hawaii and stay at the Four Seasons, put the rest in college and retirement funds.”

What’s the best vacation you ever took? “My honeymoon in South Africa. I can’t wait until the kids are old enough to take there.”

Do you have a little known talent? “I’m a spelling bee winner.”

Celebrity resemblances: “People used to say I looked like Linda Carter from ‘Wonder Woman,’ but not recently.”
